Hereโs what Tereska of Core Fabrics, our celebrity guest judge, had to say about the look:
“What a creative project! This gown has so many detailed elements. The skill and workmanship that has gone into this project is truly inspiring. The fire and ice concept comes through loud and clear!”
Congratulations, Laura!! This truly was a work of art. Thank youย Tereskaย for contributing as a guest judge this week. As a reminder, 1/3 of the score comes from a guest judge, 1/3 from your vote, and 1/3 from a panel of judges:ย Alexe St-Germain,ย Katie Grimm, andย Lakeisha Webb, who participate all season.ย They are all past Project Run & Play contestants, and know exactly what itโs like to be in these designersโ shoes. We are thankful for their contributions!
Our least favorite part of the competition, is sending designers home. They are all incredibly talented, and we love seeing their visions! But to get to a winner, we have to say goodbye to two amazing women this week. Based on combined scores from Weeks 1 and 2, the designers leaving this week are:
Angel โ A Vibrant Cascade: A Playful Take on Asymmetry

Angel and Marci will be a part of our Project Run & Play family from now on, and hopefully you’ll see lots more from them! Be sure to follow along for the next two weeks, and support your favorite designs. We wouldnโt have as much fun without your participation.
