Pattern Information:

The Cedar Coat & Cardi PDF pattern is for a luxe coat or cardigan with a high/low hemline and a dramatic shawl collar.  Views A and B are the coat views which are fully lined with a machine-bagged lining. Depending on the fabric used, it could have a sleek, tailored look in a wool coating or choose something a little more casual with a flannel oversized jacket look. You could even choose a Luxe Cuddle© minky for the entire outer coat, creating a lovely faux fur coat. The shawl collar can also vary in its look, depending on the fabric. Using a Luxe Cuddle© is a favorite for us for the drama it brings to the coat, but it will look fantastic in a wool as well.  Views C and D are the cardi views and they do not have a lining. The collar and front facing help to give these views a clean and finished look both in and outside. Without the lining and in more drapey fabrics, these views go from a tailored coat to a soft and cozy cardigan. With no closures, the cardi is crossed over and belted in front for a more casual look.  The closures and belt are interchangeable between the views, so feel free to make a coat with belt loops/belt or a cardi with buttons/snaps. There are optional inseam pockets for all views as well. With sizing from 12 months to 16 years, this pattern will be adored for years to come!
