Fabric Recommendations:

For the outer fabric, it is best to opt for sturdy, non-elastic fabrics such as cotton, canvas, faux leather, oilskin… When using thinner fabrics (cotton, corduroy, supple canvas…) it is recommended to reinforce with fusible interfacing (F220/ H250/G700).

For the lining cotton is recommended. If you want to make a slightly stiffer backpack, you can also choose to reinforce the lining with fusible interfacing (F220/ H250/G700).
