Fabric Recommendations:
Light to medium weight woven fabric. Non-stretch canvas, twill, duck, denim, wool blends, wool gabardine, corduroy, linen, etc.
Notions:

snaps for buttons 1.75cm (0.69) or hook and eye
coordinating thread and general sewing supplies
Optional:
adjustable waistband elastic 2cm (3/4″)
2 buttons 1.5cm (0.6″)
Bias tape (for the inside waistband finishing)
