Pattern Features:
The Sunset Shirt is a traditional style, unisex, button down shirt. Choose between long and short sleeves and between a regular or Grandad collar. There is an optional pocket.
Additionally, it can have a regular hem or snap crotch (up to age 4). Finally, you can use regular seams or smart, flat felled seams.
Fabric Recommendations:
Light/medium weight woven fabrics such as poplin, chambray or quilting cotton are perfect for the Sunset Shirt.
Notions:
Buttons/Snaps: A maximum of 11 buttons/snaps for each shirt, with an additional 2-4 buttons/snaps for the long sleeve version (depending on the option chosen) and 3 snaps for the snap crotch option. You can add an optional button to your pocket.
Interfacing: 30cm (12”) of light/medium weight fusible interfacing
Bias Binding: For the snap crotch shirt a maximum of 75cm (30”) of 12mm (½”) bias binding
Elastic: For the snap crotch shirt you will need the following amount of 10mm (⅜”) elastic for each leg0-3(cut 2 for entire garment).
