Pattern Features:

The Sweet Pea Cap is a four-panel cap Inspired by a riding helmet – with a twist of optional pony ears, because all hats are more fun with ears, right?  An alternate kitty ear template is also included.

Fabric Recommendations:

Main: Recommended fabrics include woven or knit material with good body and stability such as upholstery fabric, denim, corduroy, boucle, suiting, wool, sweatshirt fleece, etc. for the outer cap, and lighter weight cotton or cotton blends for the lining.

Notions:

Flexible kitchen cutting mat, or heavyweight fusible interfacing such as Pellon 72F or Decovil.

This pattern is delivered via immediate download as a 21-page PDF file which features detailed illustrated diagrams, and thorough step by step instructions for a well-fitted final cap. All pattern pieces are full-sized and include seam allowances. All seams are enclosed for a professional result.  Options are given for a lining with and without a facing.  An optional strap is included for sizes XXS and XS.

The pattern pieces are nested and include layers, providing the ability to print only the size(s) desired.  All, one, or any combination of the pattern pieces can be printed to customize to your needs.  There are three pages of pattern pieces.
