Season 29: Week 3 Results

The designers this season have pulled out all the stops. There have been so many amazing pieces shared, and multiple ties between our votes, panel of judges, and guest judge. The competition is stiff!

For this round, there are 6 designers remaining, and 1/3 of the score comes from our panel of past PR&P designers, 1/3 from a celebrity guest judge, Cornelius Quiring this week, and 1/3 of the score comes from the public vote. Thank you for your support!

We are so excited to share the three designers who will be continuing on to share their Signature Style look in the finals for Week 4!

Nikki Scott – Puppy Love (1st place)

Here’s what our celebrity judge had to say about Nikki’s look: “The patchwork of the dog on the back of the coat is mind-blowing. The work of someone who can only be a master of their craft. What a great way to memorialize their furry friend. I hope this coat is held onto for a lifetime. Again, a great colour palette that is used throughout the various piece. The little heart cutout on the side of the coat is another wonderful detail. The white topstitching on the pants also helps to wonderfully frame the ribbing in the knees. Bravo.”

Candice Schoffstall – Country Chic (2nd place)

Sara Jean – Piped Perfection (3rd place)

We can’t wait to see and share their creations next week. Be sure to stay tuned. It’s going to be an amazing week!

Our least favorite part of this is sending people home. These ladies are all amazing designers, and they’ve outdone themselves. I can’t stress how close this competition has been. We’re just sending them home with barely a 1 point difference. We hope you will follow them and watch and see what they do next, because it’s going to be fabulous!

Amy Gilane – Floral Frolic (4th place)

Bonnie Flitton – Patch and Play (5th place)

Katie Bolla – Drip (6th place)

They won’t go home empty-handed. Our sponsors have been so generous, and they will all get prizes after the competition wraps up! Please support our sponsors by shopping their websites, and following them on social media.

Our sew along is open to anyone who sews for children, so please join in. Maybe you could be in a future season!
