There were so many incredible, diverse looks for week 1! Choosing between such different interpretations of the “Back to the Future” theme is very difficult, but the public voting response was so strong that it crashed our website a few times!
Fortunately, no one is being eliminated this week! We want everyone to have a fair chance to show their best work, so all ten designers are sewing for the first two weeks of the competition. The total public votes from the first two weeks will be added together to determine the top six advancing to the third round.
However, we still have a winner for Week 1! Congratulations to Julie-Michèle from 5Flos! Her Flashdance 2.0 look lead the popular vote this week.
