Project Run and Play is part of the international sewing community. We work with designers from all over the world and had several seasons dedicated to specific geographic regions. An Olympic year seemed to be the perfect opportunity to celebrate diverse sewists from all over the world so we bring to you…
This event is just a friendly showcase of international talents rather than a competition. We have asked a wide range of past competitors to create looks for their kids inspired by the summer Olympic games. Be sure to follow along on social media all month long as we share sporty looks sure to inspire!
FABRIC
We also have a new Summer Olympics inspired fabric collection available in Raspberry Creek Fabrics Designer Studios! It features polka dots made of sports balls, stripes made of swimming pool or track lanes, gymnastics silhouettes, and a combined non-directional print. Of course, our popular size tags are an option but we have also added a panel of accent stripes including one row of tags, side tags, waistbands, and more!

SEWALONG
Finally, we have our monthly sewalong! Sew your own Summer Olympics inspired kids looks to enter!
Rules:
-Sew an item for children inspired by the Summer Olympic Games. Double entries if you use a pattern from the Project Run and Play shop.
-To enter, post anywhere on Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #PRPolympics24, take a screenshot, and put it in the album in our Facebook group for your official entry!
-Multiple entries welcome.
-Must be a new sew this month.
-Each make may be entered once, no matter how many places you post it.
-Encourage friends to join in.
-Contest runs July 1st 2024 – August 9th 2024. Winner will be drawn and announced shortly after!
