From the Designer Capsule #6, we are excited to present the Cinnamon Cardigan pattern by Susana of Suco by Susana. The Cinnamon Cardigan is slouchy, warm, and the one thing they’ll reach for on a daily basis!
Pattern Features:
The Cinnamon is an oversized cardigan designed for medium weight or bulky knit fabrics. It’s the layer that goes perfectly over shirts, tees and dresses, and looks good on every outfit. View A is finished with a simple hem on the body and sleeves, while view B has a waistband and sleeve cuffs. Both views feature a neckline placket, V-neck and close with buttons. All seams are sewn with a regular straight stitch and it’s an easy and fast sew.
The Cinnamon cardigan pattern is part of the Project Happy Holidays collection from Project Run and Play, and works beautifully paired with the other patterns of the collection as a capsule wardrobe.
Fabric Recommendations:
Medium-weight or bulky knit fabrics such as cut-and-sew knit, french terry, sweatshirt knit, ponte, etc. The fabric does not need to stretch, except for the waistband and sleeve cuffs in view B (the fabric should have 25% to 30% stretch and good recovery).
Notions:
Scrap of fusible interfacing for the front placket.
– 3 or 4 buttons for the front placket.
– Jersey, ballpoint or stretch needle (overlocker/serger is optional).
– Tailor’s chalk or washaway pen.

Pattern comes in sizes 12 months through to 14 years (80cm to 170cm height), separated by colour and line style. Both pattern files include Layers, so that you can print only the size that you want.
