From the Designer Capsule #3, we proudly present the Cobalt Board Shorts pattern by Jenn of Jennuine Design. The Cobalt Board Shorts were created for Project Watercolor Beach.

Pattern Features:
The Cobalt Boardshorts are a unisex and versatile short ready for fun in the water or sun. There are three options for the front: a half placket with a buttoned waistband, a faux placket or no placket with a flat front waistband. There are optional front pockets and two lengths: above the knee Bermuda and mid- thigh Jamaica. An optional swim lining is included.
Fabric Recommendations:
Boardshort fabric, peachskin, medium weight cotton or cotton blends such as quilter’s cotton, chambray, drill, twill, linen, wool blends, etc. Swim lining, swim knit, or mesh for optional lining.
Notions:
1-11⁄4″/2.5-3cm wide non-roll elastic
lightweight woven fusible interfacing SF101 or similar
Optional:
• swim knit or swim lining for optional swim lining.
• twill tape, cording, or ribbon for ties
• button or plastic snap for half placket
• buttonhole elastic and two buttons
