The Nini Noni Nightwear PDF pattern is for a set of pajama pieces that are perfect for either lounging or sleeping. There are options from a classic maxi length nightgown all the way to a casual top and bottom sweat set that is super cozy and appropriate for everyday wear. Made with knit fabrics with moderate stretch, the Nini Noni Nightwear pieces are perfect for use in any season.

Each of the four tops (including the two nightgowns) can use any of the four sleeves: short, long, gathered head (pued) short, or gathered head (pued) long. Using dierent sleeves is a great way to extend the use of this pattern.  There is also the option for a functional or decorative drawstring on the waistband.

Fabric Recommendations:

Knit fabrics with at least 50% twoway stretch and recovery such as cotton/lycra, interlock, french terry, bamboo terry, double brushed poly, bullet, and jersey. If the stretch of the main fabric is too low, ribbing may need to be used for the neckband.

Notions:

views E, F, G: 1″ or 2″ elastic depending on size (see Elastic Cut Chart)
two 12.5″ drawstrings for cinching the waist (optional) 1/2″ (1.25cm) wide strips of cotton lycra that have been pulled to curl can be used instead of drawstrings. trips AGAINST the grain.

Each of the three bottoms use the same waistband and sizes 3t16 can choose to use the recommended 2″ (5cm) elastic or a
1″ (2.5cm) elastic for a shorter rise, while sizes nb2t use the 1″ elastic to automatically account for their shorter rises. There is also the option for a functional or decorative drawstring on the waistband.

View A is a maxi length nightgown with a rued hem for an added touch of whimsy.
View B is a maxi length nightgown with a normal hemline which is great for a border print and has the same length as view A. View C is a tunic length sleepshirt with a swing shape that falls just below the hip area.
View D is a hip length shirt that is perfect for featuring a panel or some fun ironon vinyl.
View E is a casual sweatpant that has a long leg that extends straight down from the hip for a cozy, but stylish shape.
View F is a sweatshort that has a sweet rue on each leg opening. This is great paired with view C for the peek of rue extending underneath the swing tunic.
View G is a sweatshort with a regular hem.

With a unisex block, sizing from newborn through 16 years, and all of these options, your kids will be comfortable and cozy for years to come.
