Newly updated for the Project Art Studio pattern collection, we are happy to bring you Susana of Suco by Susana’s Super Tough Jeans pattern. These were first seen in her Wanderlust & Monochrome Mania looks during Season 20.
Pattern Features:
Slim fit jeans designed for boys, with just enough ease to move freely. A staple to turn to when you need jeans for your boy that he can play in, wear to school, throw himself on his knees and slide on the floor, and not be worried about tearing holes in it.
Fabric Recommendations:
This pattern can be made in medium or heavyweight denim, with or without stretch, and also looks great in fine wale corduroy and cotton twill.
Notions:
– Lightweight cotton fabric for the front pockets lining
– 30cm (12“) of iron on interfacing
– Jeans machine needle / Topstitch machine needle (optional)
– Topstitching thread and regular polyester sewing thread
– Zipper (size equal or larger than given in the chart below)
– Zipper and buttonhole presser feet
– 2.5cm (1”) wide buttonhole elastic
– 3 buttons (1 for front fly, 2 for adjustable waist)
– Optional: Popper or a press button for front fly (instead of a button and buttonhole)
– Tailors chalk, washable or heat disappearing marking pen

Pattern Information:
Slim fit jeans designed for boys, with just enough ease to move freely.
A staple to turn to when you need jeans for your boy that he can play in, wear to school, throw himself on his knees and slide on the floor, and not be worried about tearing holes in it.
Can be made in trousers or shorts length, with the shorts hitting a few centimetres above the knee.
Features include reinforced knees with double layer fabric and topstitching, inset front pockets with coin pocket, patch pockets in the back, zip fly and button closure, adjustable waistband on the inside, and a topstitched waistband with belt loops.
Pattern is designed for boys, and comes in sizes 3 years through to 14 years (98cm to 170cm height), separated by colour and line style. The A4 file features Adobe Acrobat “Layers”, so that you can print just the size that you need.
