We are excited to bring you the Metro Slimfit Blazer from Suzanne of Winter Wear Designs, who competed on season 6, and our first mini season!
Pattern Features:
The Metro Slimfit Blazer is the perfect modern blazer to add to your child’s wardrobe. The slim fit hugs the body while still allowing for a range of movement. Front darts and fitted pieces contribute to the finished shape and fit of the garment. The shoulder yoke and narrow lapel add dimension to the garment while keeping it current. Keep it classic in all one color, or go bold with a mix of fabrics. Add in the optional body and sleeve color blocking and you have a blazer that is sure to turn heads. Optional front welt pockets and back vent give more variety so that you can make a closet full of blazers with no two looking exactly the same. The body is designed to hit at hip length (with a curved hem that is slightly longer in the back). The Sleeves are designed to hit at the broadest point of the hand – this allows for the sleeves to be optionally cuffed or pushed back for a preppy look, you can also use the shorter cut line on the sleeve for the classic wrist length sleeve.
