Pattern Features:
The Seaside Shorts are a fitted design for woven fabrics, designed for girls. The shorts sit on the natural waist, have darts in the front and back, a waist facing instead of a waistband, front pockets, and close with an invisible zipper in the left side seam. Includes options for front buttons, back elastic waist, belt loops and a sash.
Fabric Recommendations:
Woven light-weight or medium-weight fabrics such as cotton lawn, linen, rayon, tencel twill, chambray, seersucker, lightweight denim, canvas.
Notions:
-Fusible interfacing for the waist facing: 10cm (4”)
– One invisible zipper 12.5cm (5”) long minimum and 20cm (8”) maximum
– Optional piece of elastic 2.5cm (1”) wide for the back waist
