From Mini Season 1 of Project Run & Play, we bring you Hayley of Mouse House Creations Sydney Pinafore Pattern first seen in her Dollies and Me Make Three look for the Art Gallery Fabrics Knit Challenge.
Pattern Features:
The Sydney Pinafore and Romper is a classic design that has been part of my life since I was a  little girl living in Australia.  My mum used to make me similar style dresses, which were perfect for playing in the sun and sand.  The Sydney has a bib style front, criss cross straps on the back, a flat front skirt, shorts or bubble shorts, and an elasticized back.  The dress can grow with the child from a dress to a tunic.  The bubble romper is perfect for babies and toddlers and includes a placket for easy diaper changes.
Fabric Recommendations:
Woven fabrics are needed for this dress. Â Chambray, fine wale corduroy, cotton woven, linen, any stable woven
Notions:
2 3/4-1″ buttons, 1/2″ elastic, lightweight fusible interfacing, 3 snaps for the bloomers, 1/4″ single fold bias tape for the shorts, 1/4″ elastic for the bloomers
Sizes:
The Sydney Romper and Pinafore pattern is available in sizes 3 months to 12 years. It has an optional placket for the sunsuit romper and the curved shorts romper for easy diaper changes (up to size 2).
The sunsuit romper goes up to size 2. The other 2 options go all the way up to size 12.
